As a Field Application Engineer, you are the link between development, customer and sales. Your goal is to generate technical solutions and successfully implement them at the customer. You will use existing products and concepts to work out system solutions for customers.

This requires in-depth knowledge of the product: You are familiar with all of the details from development to testing through to the sales strategy. As you will have direct contact with customers, you must have excellent communication skills.

• Developing technical solutions for our customers by working out product solutions for application and system requirements
• Discussing the product definition with the customer
• Establishing and maintaining customer relations

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (electrical/electronics engineering preferred) with 3-5 years of experience in a design or customer facing role

• Strong analytical skills and ability to think outside the box to create technical solutions.
• Knowledge of power electronics and power supply design including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion.
• Solid understanding of basic engineering and validation processes including thermal performance, reliability, compliance and EMI/EMC
• Proven track record of developing strong relationships with customers.
• Experienced in preparing presentations and training internal and external customers
