SL Power Electronics is excited to announce the completion of a series of upgrades that transformed their corporate headquarters in Ventura, CA. These upgrades were part of a 2019 initiative known as Steel Partners Brand Integration.

Earlier in the year, organizations under the Steel Partners umbrella were directed to incorporate the Steel Partners tagline into their company logos. This will play a pivotal role in increasing the level of exposure to the Steel Partners brand, which is fundamental in achieving consistent growth in terms of mind share and brand awareness.
This initiative demonstrated a strong sense of unity among subsidiaries of Steel Partners. Despite being very diverse from one another in terms of business models, organizational size, go-to-market strategy, target customers, and so on, they remain united under the Steel Partners banner.
In addition, this sheds some light on the current mindset permeating the Steel Partners conglomerate, making it clear that the organization’s strategy is increasingly focused on the organic growth of its operating companies, while also leveraging all possible synergies between them.
The SL Power team believed that the Steel Partners Brand Integration would be simple at first but turned out much more challenging than originally anticipated. When considering everything that had to be rebranded from the website and landing pages, to printed marketing collateral and promotional items, from presentations and spotlights, to building signage and acrylic posters, instances of the old SL Power logo were everywhere.
Despite the challenges that arose, the SL Power team remained on track and worked diligently to complete the Steel Partners Brand Integration. The fact that so much was done in such a short period of time is a true testament to the team’s dedication and teamwork. Throughout the entirety of the project, they managed to pull off one impossible deadline after another.
