The GU300 family is approved to both medical and industrial safety standards, complying to both Medical (IEC/UL60601-1, 3rd Edition) and Industrial/ITE (IEC/UL62368) safety standards within the same SKU. This is one of the most notable attributes of the GU300 family of products and, when paired with a design optimized for seamless integration, the GU300 stands out as the ultimate solution for Medical, Test & Measurement, Industrial and virtually any other application necessitating optimal performance.
Featuring next-generation technology, the GU300 was designed with built-in digital control and monitoring capability via PMBus to facilitate more precise in-system operation, user controllability, and overall versatility of these power units. The GU300 is constructed with the highest quality components, such as long-life electrolytic capacitors. Furthermore, the power supply design ensures that these components are not pushed to their maximum output ratings. For example, the long-life electrolytic capacitors operate below their threshold and ESR ratings in order to extend the life of the end equipment and minimize field service needs.

The GU300 family was designed to meet the EMC requirements per UL/EN/IEC60601-1-2, 4th Edition (Heavy Industrial levels of EN61000-4-x standards)*. These power supply units will operate within a universal input range of 85 to 264Vac over a wide temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, delivering full rated output power up to +50°C and applicable output power derating up to 70°C.
